In Montenegro, a new package of economic measures to support citizens for the first quarter of 2021 covers more than 100 thousand people, Minister of Economic Development Yakov Milatovic said. He also noted that this is almost every fifth inhabitant of the country.
Pensioners with an income of less than 222 euros will receive 50 euros each, and unemployed registered at the employment office will receive 100 euros each.
Recipients of material security and disability benefits can also count on assistance.
He said at a press conference in the government of Montenegro that the package is primarily of a crisis nature and consists of two parts - supporting the economy and supporting vulnerable groups of society.
He stressed that for the first time, they expanded assistance to pensioners with small pensions, providing a one-time support to pensioners receiving pensions below the minimum wage, which is 222 euros.
Families receiving material support, almost 8000 of them will also receive 50 euros, families with three or more members - 100 euros.
The list of endangered activities has been expanded by about 20 positions; they relate to the transport sector, processing industry.
